A woman with a baby in a stroller was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a Cadillac in northwest D.C.
A man was traveling eastbound on H Street near 14th Street when for an unknown reason he drove on to the sidewalk, grazing the woman.
The car struck an office building with such force people inside thought it was another earthquake. The Cadillac finally stopped in a tree box after scattering car parts about the sidewalk.
The driver also was taken to an area hospital.
None of the injuries is believed to be life-threatening.
