A 70-year-old man crashed his SUV into two boats in Solomons Island Sunday.
Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a crash in the parking lot of Bunky’s Charter Boat about 6:50 p.m.
DFC J. Bell determined the driver of a 2004 Jeep mistakenly put his car in reverse and hit a 2003 Ford F250 pickup truck, two parking posts and the pier before stopping on two boats parked at the pier.
No injuries were reported.
The Calvert County sherriff did not issue any citations, and the crash was determined to be the result of driver error.
