The D.C. area's Capital Bikeshare system is smashing records for ridership.
DDOT says Bikeshare saw its highest ridership month ever in June, with more than 320,000 trips taken.
The previous record was set in May when there were about 310,000 trips taken.
And July looks strong, too. DDOT says so far this month, the system has been averaging about 11,000 trips per day.
Bikeshare is now spread across the area in D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
