Burger King Manager Beaten During Robbery in Maryland

The manager of a Burger King was beaten during a robbery Monday, Salisbury Police saif.

Police say early in the morning, two men pushed their way into the Burger King when an employee was taking out the trash. One robber displayed a handgun and demanded that the manager give them money from the register and safe.

One robber hit the manager several times in the head with his gun when the manager could not open the safe.

The Daily Times of Salisbury reports that the robbers forced the two workers to take off their pants and shoes and tied their hands and feet before fleeing in a car.

The employees freed themselves and called police. The manager was treated and released at a local hospital.
