An 84 year-old woman is fighting for her life after a brutal attack and robbery in Takoma Park, Md.
Police say it happened Wednesday around noon in the parking lot of the Shoppers Food Warehouse on New Hampshire Avenue.
The victim was allegedly shoved to the ground from behind.
Police said that she fell between two parked cars and remained on the cold ground with broken bones and cuts until a passerby found her.

Detectives were working through Christmas Eve hoping to catch the criminal, but they said they don’t have much to go on.
One clue: the robber took a distinctive canvas tote bag that the victim used as a shopping purse.
