Brothers Arrested in Fatal Stabbing at Md. Gas Station

A pair of Baltimore brothers has been arrested in the stabbing death of a 27-year-old Maryland father of 5.

Crews responded to the 300 block of Meadow Way in Landover around 6:30 p.m. Sunday for a report of stabbing. David Janard Jenkins of Landover, Md., and a friend were in the car of another man at a gas station when they got into a dispute with another group of men.

At some point, both Jenkins and his friend were stabbed. The third man attempted to drive the two victims to the hospital, but it was too late for Jenkins who died from his injuries.

Rayshad Stuart, 21, was arrested Tuesday at his Baltimore home in connection with Jenkins' death, and his brother, 23-year-old Antjuan Stuart, was charged Wednesday.

The brothers are facing first and second-degree murder charges.

News4's Pat Collins spoke with Jenkins' mother Jane Jones Tuesday.

"It broke my heart because that's my only son. I do not wish that upon anybody. I find myself ... just breaking down in tears," Jones said.
