Brother Charged With Murder After Virginia Woman's Body Found in Inflatable Pool

A man is charged in the murder of his sister after she was found dead in an inflatable pool in Virginia over the weekend.

Deputies found 53-year-old Angie A. Walls dead in the inflatable pool Saturday on the rear deck of her Warrenton home, the Fauquier County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies determined that there had been a physical altercation at the home in the 6700 block of Riley Road sometime during the day. Another relative found Walls dead and called 911 about 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Her cause of death is being investigated through an autopsy.

Her brother, 51-year-old Ashton Dunlap Berry, is charged with first-degree murder. He was being held without bond at the Fauquier County Adult Detention Center.

The public defender's office didn't immediately respond to a message left over the holiday weekend asking if one of its lawyers would represent Berry.
