A missing fisherman has been found dead in Fairfax County, officials said.
Harry Schmalz, 56, was last seen fishing Tuesday evening in the area of Seneca Regional Park in Great Falls, Virginia. His body was found Saturday afternoon.
"All indications are his death was accidental," the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
Schmalz left his home in the Sterling area Tuesday afternoon and was on his way to Great Falls Park, the sheriff's office said. He was reported missing Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities described him as an avid fisherman who was known to take walks in regional parks.
