A body was discovered Wednesday along a creek bed in Woodbridge, Virginia, police say.

Detectives recovered the body of 63-year-old Woodbridge resident Craig Edward Manning at Powells Creek near Jefferson Davis Highway, Prince William County police said. Officers went to the area at 12:51 p.m. Wednesday after someone called about the remains, police said.

Detectives are working with the Medical Examiner's Office to determine the cause of death.

No foul play is suspected, and there is no threat to the community, police said.
