A body was found after a fire at an apartment complex in Fort Washington Saturday night.
Firefighters were called to the apartment complex in the 1200 block of Palmer Road just after 11 p.m. Several 911 callers reported a top-floor apartment on fire.
More than 40 firefighters needed about 15 minutes to contain the fire.
A man inside the apartment suffered severe burn injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
There are no other reports of injuries, but several apartments were damaged.
