Bodies Continue to Emerge in Inner Harbor

3 bodies pulled from water in two weeks

BALTIMORE -- Baltimore firefighters have pulled a body from the water near Fells Point -- the third pulled from the Inner Harbor in two weeks.

The body was spotted near the 1400 block of Thames Street Sunday afternoon.

Fire department spokesman Chief Kevin Cartwright said the body seemed to have been in the water for some time. Police spokeswoman Nicole Monroe said an autopsy will be performed to determine how the man died.

The body of a man was found Thursday near the paddle boat pier off the Pratt Street Pavilion. The man has not been identified and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of his death.

Earlier this month, the body of 26-year-old Ryan Davis was found off the Broadway Pier in Fells Point. An autopsy found that Davis drowned.
