Bethesda Residents Outraged by Anti-Semitic Fliers

Materials accuse Jews of fiscal and moral misdeeds

BETHESDA, Md. -- At least six residents on the same street in Bethesda have found anti-Semitic fliers in their driveways, according to a regional briefing published in The Washington Post Sunday.

The Worthington Drive residents said they are outraged by the materials, which they say accuse Jews of fiscal and moral misdeeds.

Not all of the residents who received the literature are Jewish, including Carol Moravsky, who said she and her husband were disgusted by the incident.

Another resident said she had called the police about the leaflets, but was told that the incident wouldn't be investigated because no one was threatened in the literature.
