A stretch of the Capital Beltway's Inner Loop temporarily closed mid-morning Wednesday due to a crash but has reopened.
The closure was located prior to Exit 30, the exit for US-29/Colesville Road, in Montgomery County, Maryland.
At one point, traffic was backed up for several miles.
