Barry's Jaguar Has Broken Bumper

Council Member Marion Barry's vehicle arrived at the Wilson Building in Northwest D.C. a little worse for the wear this morning.

While we've seen images of the car booted and ticketed, on Tuesday, the former mayor's white Jaguar was actually damaged.

The rear bumper was cracked, hanging low and dragging behind the vehicle as he pulled in off of Pennsylvania Avenue.

While hurrying inside, Barry told reporters that he had been the victim of a hit and run.

"When you live in the ghetto, all this happens," the Post's Nikita Stewart quoted him saying.
