Authorities Search for 2 Women in Landover Bank Robbery

Two women with scarves covering their faces robbed a Capital One Bank in the 6200 block of Annapolis Road in Landover, Md., shortly before 5 p.m. Monday.

Prince George's County police are now working to identify the women, who they say passed notes to two different bank tellers demanding cash before fleeing the scene in a tan Chrysler Concorde.

The first suspect is a black female in her late 20s and is described as 5'4" and 130 pounds. She was wearing a flourescent green scarf, a black leather jacket and a brown glove at the time of the crime.

The second suspect is also described as a black female in her late 20s. She is about 5'7" and 180 pounds and was wearing a brown and burgandy patterned scarf and a gray hooded jacket during the robbery.

Authorities have not disclosed the amont of money obtained during the heist.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call the CID Robbery Unit at 301-772-4905. Crime solvers is offering a cash reward up to $1,000 for any tips that lead to an arrest and indictment in this case.
