A man attempted to sexually assault and rob a woman at a private school in southeast D.C. Thursday morning, police said.
As a female employee entered the Naylor Road School at 2305 R St. SE about 6:40 a.m., a man followed her inside, police said. He pointed an object at her and asked for money.
The man grabbed the woman by her hair and attempted to pull her pants down, police said. As they struggled, the man began to pull his pants down.
The woman fought him off, and the man fled, according to police. The suspect in the case is described as a dark-complexioned man between the ages of 25 and 35. He stands approximately 6 feet, 2 inches tall, has a stocky build, and has a full beard and lots of hair. Investigators say the man was last seen wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt and gray pants.
