Prosecutors Want 30 More Days of Detention for Giordano

Murder or manslaughter charge possible in December

Prosecutors in Aruba will ask a judge to order a Maryland man held for one more 30-day detention period as the investigation into a missing Maryland woman continues.

Gary Giordano could be charged with murder or manslaughter by the third week of December.

Giordano has been held since Robyn Gardner disappeared in early August. He maintains she didn’t get back to shore when they were snorkeling.

Prosecutors suspect foul play.
