Arrest Made in Double Shooting; One Man Killed



    One person is dead and another is in the hospital after a shooting in Forestville. Prince George's County police say it happened just after 10:30 a.m. News4's Derrick Ward spoke to a witness who says he saw someone fleeing the scene. (Published Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013)

    Prince George’s County police have arrested a suspect in the shooting of two men, killing one.

    Police said Ronte Travell Muhyee, 20, of Oxon Hill, Md., was taken into custody Saturday after he was involved in a confrontation. Muhyee allegedly shot and killed Douglas Antonio Romero Arguenta, 29, of Gaithersburg, Md.

    A second victim was also shot. That victim remains hospitalized in critical, but stable, condition.

    Muhyee faces multiple charges related to shooting both men. He is in custody at the Department of Corrections.
