Arrest Made in Capitol Heights Killing

Victim's body discovered wrapped in plastic

Prince George's County police say they have made an arrest in the killing of a man whose body was found behind a dumpster in Capitol Heights.

Police say 28-year-old Jamik Mathew Sumby was arrested and charged with first-degree murder Tuesday in the death of Perry Earl Hunt.

Authorities say they were called to the 1400 block of Doewood Lane for a report of a body on Friday morning. Arriving officers found Hunt's body wrapped in plastic behind an apartment complex dumpster.

Police say Sumby, of Fairmount Heights, and Hunt, of Upper Marlboro, were ``known acquaintances.'' Authorities say Sumby had stabbed Hunt during an altercation at another location.
