Some Arlington residents are being warned to stay away from local waterways after authorities discovered a 12-inch sewage pipe was leaking.
Residents living near the Dominion Plaza apartments and Arlington Village condos were warned to avoid contact with water in Arlington Branch, Lower Long Branch and Four Mile Run.
The pipe has been leaking since yesterday afternoon. Crews are working to remove the blockage and stop the leak.
