The Anacostia Riverwalk Trail is about to get bigger.
Starting next month, crews will begin a four-mile extension to the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail.
A 10 million dollar grant from the Department of Transportation will connect dozens of local trails in the District and Maryland.
The expansion will also connect 16 waterfront communities, including Nationals Park, RFK stadium and the National Arboretum.
