Airports: Check Flights Before Heading Out

Airports in the Washington region are urging passengers to check on their flights before heading to the airports as some flights have been delayed or canceled because of winter weather.

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority says flight delays and cancelations are affecting flights at Dulles International and Ronald Reagan Washington National airports. But the airports authority says weather conditions are improving in the region. Snow removal teams were out at both airports through the night to treat and clear the runways.

Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall airport also had canceled flights. The airport's website showed flights to Boston and Chicago were among the flights that had been canceled.
