A Latvian airline will begin offering inexpensive, nonstop flights from Washington, D.C. to London in August, according to a Dulles Airport news release.

Primera Air will offer service between Dulles and London's Stansted Airport starting Aug. 22. One-way tickets are available for about $199, though that fare does not include a checked bag or meal.

About 200 seats will be available on each flight. The airline is offering service Tuesday through Friday and Sundays, according to the release.

Dulles says its international passenger activity increased to a record 7.8 million in 2017.

Primera, which is based in Latvia and Denmark, launched in 2003 as a charter carrier.
