Police arrested a man they say committed multiple bank robberies in Montgomery County.
Samuel Lewis, 44, of Beltsville, Maryland, has been charged with 7 robberies since last October. Investigators said they are also investigating four other robberies in Montgomery County and Virginia that were similar in style.
Authorities said Lewis used a firearm to commit the bank thefts. Rockville District Court set bail at $1,000,000.
