The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office investigating an apparent abduction attempt in Sterling, Va.
A 14-year-old girl got off the bus with a friend and, after the two split up, was approached near Middleton Lane and West Meadowland Lane by a man believed to be in his 30s.
The girl ran and the sheriff’s office was contacted about 4:30 p.m..
Deputies searched the area but found no one.
