A Virginia man who suffers from Alzheimer's was found safe over 200 miles from home, the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office says.
Ronald Eugene Jackson was last seen leaving his home in Spotsylvania County Sunday morning. Authorities say Jackson drove to Pennsylvania and ran out of gas in Radnor Township.
Jackson, who suffers from Alzheimer's, was found Monday morning.
“We are thrilled and relieved that Mr. Jackson was found safe and in good health," said Spotsylvania County Sheriff Roger Harris.
Police say Jackson's family will arrange for his safe return home.
