Montgomery County Police say a missing 80-year-old Silver Spring woman was found safe in D.C.
Dorothy Hill left her assisted living facility in Silver Spring at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. At the time, she was on foot, but police believe she may have taken a cab later.
Police were concerned about Hill because she suffers from dementia.
At the time of her disappearance, authorities believed she may have be trying to get to the 1800 block of Maryland Avenue in northeast D.C. Police did not say whether that was where she was found.
