7 Rescued After Boat Takes on Water in Potomac River

The Coast Guard says seven people were rescued after a boat they were in began taking on water in the Potomac River.

Officials said the incident occurred near the Arlington Memorial Bridge on Sunday.

The Coast Guard said they responded after being notified that a 30-foot boat with seven people on board was having trouble. Officials said the owner was worried because he couldn't find the sources of the water and the boat had also lost an engine.

The Coast Guard said no one was injured.
