Group Distracts Virginia Jewelry Store Owner While Woman Takes Almost $200,000 in Valuables

The City of Falls Church Police are searching for seven people who robbed jewelry and cash from a jewelry store in Eden Center.

The incident happened on Friday, Nov. 3 at the Bach Tuyet "BT" Jewelers located at 6567 Wilson Blvd.

Surveillance footage shows a man and six women, including a woman with a toddler, entering the store at 1:30 p.m.

As an apparent coordinated burglary, the group distracted the store owner by posing as interested customers while one of the women crawled behind the counter to a back room.

She is then seen taking rings, gold, and cash from a safe into a plastic bag. The safe was already open because the store had just opened.

Police believe the group may have robbed other jewelry stores across state lines, including in Pennsylvania and California.

The seven suspects include six women and one man. All are assumed to still be in the area and between the ages of 25 to 35 years old according to police. Police believe they were last seen driving a 2004 to 2010 Honda Odyssey.
