$50,000 Reward Offered for Stafford Slaying Info

A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to a conviction in the 2011 slaying of a Stafford County, Va., man.

The reward was provided by an anonymous donor, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.

Samih Mustafa Sowan, 49, was fatally shot on March 1, 2011. His landlord found his body in the basement area of a house that he had rented.

Police haven't been able to gather enough evidence for an arrest, sheriff's spokesman Bill Kennedy told The Free Lance-Star.
