4,000 Virginia Homes Lose Power — Again

Just 90 minutes after some homes got their power back from last week's storm.

More than 4,000 Dominion Virginia customers lost power Friday night -- just 90 minutes after the last of the storm-related outages were resolved in their area.

The outage occurred in Herndon, Va., around Wiehle Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Crews were on their way to the scene.

A representative from Dominion Virginia said a tree limb fell on a power line. They expect service to be restored around 11 p.m.
