4 Injured in Northeast D.C. Accident

Two adults hospitalized

Two pedestrians were among four injured in an accident in northeast Washington Tuesday afternoon.

The driver of a minibike struck a compact car while making a turn the wrong way down a one-way at Kenilworth Avenue and Quarles Street, News4's Jackie Bensen reported. The driver and the passenger on the bike both hit the car. They were taken to an area hospital -- one in very critical condition. The injuries are not life-threatening.

Two pedestrians, including a juvenile, also were injured in the incident but did not need to be taken to the hospital, Bensen reported.
