Three Anne Arundel County Police officers were seriously hurt in a crash after hitting a car that had pulled out in front of them.
The officers were driving in an unmarked police car with its lights and siren on while responding to a call about an armed suspect in Pasadena on Wednesday morning, Police Sgt. T.J. Smith said.
That's when another car pulled out from a stop sign and into the path of the officers' car, Smith said. The officer driving swerved to avoid a direct impact, but still hit the car's front corner.
The three officers in the car were taken to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other car had minor injuries.
