4 Killed in Glenarden Fire Identified

Prince George's fire officials have now identified four people killed in a house fire in Glenarden, Md.

Darrell Price Jr., 36; 8-year-old Tania Price and 4-year-old Patrice Price died early Thursday morning at local hospitals, where they were taken after the fire. Saturday morning, the Prince George's Fire Department announced that 11-year-old Daijah Price had passed away late Friday night at Children's National Medical Center in Washington D.C. Daijah had been transferred to Children's National Medical Center after her pulse was restored in Prince George's Hospital Center Thursday morning.

Price's mother and 8-year-old sister, who have not been identified, have been treated and released from local hospitals.

The blaze was reported about 4 a.m. at the one-story, single-family home, officials said. Firefighters arrived to find flames and thick smoke coming from windows. About 75 firefighters battled the blaze.

The cause of the blaze was electrical in nature and was accidental, authorities said Friday. Damage is estimated at $100,000.

No smoke alarms were found in the home, firefighters said.
