A man died after being shot by a home intruder in Forestville, Md.
Someone broke into a house on Surrey Square Lane about 2 a.m. Wednesday. The victim and the intruder struggled and exchanged gunfire.
The victim, 23-year-old Deandre Yates, died on the way to the hospital. The intruder fled the scene.
Police said the victim was a promoter for a local go-go band called TCB (Total Control Band), but the band's manager told News4 Yates had no affiliation with the band.
