Thousands Call Police Over Former Johns Hopkins Doctor

Several cameras found during search of his office

More than 2,000 patients have contacted Baltimore police about their doctor who was making secret recordings of some of them.

Police told WBAL-TV they found several cameras at the Johns Hopkins clinic where Dr. Nikita Levy worked as a gynecologist. One of the cameras operated from a pen.

Levy was fired earlier this month, then killed himself last Feb. 18 after the allegations came out.

A class action lawsuit has been filed against the hospital. Attorneys have been running television ads in the Baltimore market looking for victims who want to sue.

Police are investigating whether any of the images were posted on the Internet but haven't yet revealed what they've discovered.
