3 Shot After Party in Capitol Heights Sunday Morning

Police: 18-year-old shot in back, both expected to survive

Two men and a juvenile suffered gunshot wounds after leaving a party in Capitol Heights early Sunday morning.

A Flowers High School freshman was among the three shot at Hampton Park Boulevard and Hampton Overlook Drive about 12:15 a.m. after leaving Seize the Dance nightclub. He was leaving the party with friends, according to the principal at Flowers. Someone approached them and fired multiple times before fleeing.

Police said it appears the victims were targeted.

The freshman was treated at a hospital and released and is recovering at home, according to his principal. One of the men, an 18-year-old, was shot in the back. The second man, whose age was not given, was shot in the leg. Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are on the lookout for four men they wish to question in relation to the shooting. No description of the men was immediately available.
