2 Teens Wanted in Slaying, Robbery Outside Potomac Avenue Metro Station

Two teenagers are wanted in connection to a deadly stabbing and robbery outside the Potomac Avenue Metro station in D.C.

D.C. police released photos Wednesday of 18-year-old Jada Jena Smith and 18-year-old Xavier Dontrell Culbreth.

Police previously said two teenagers jumped a man, robbed him and stabbed him multiple times about 11:45 p.m. Sunday above the escalator area at the station in Southeast D.C.

He died on the way to a hospital.

Smith is wanted for armed robbery and Culbreth is wanted for first-degree murder.

Police described Smith as a black woman who is 5 feet 1 inches and 110 pounds with brown eyes, blonde hair and a light complexion. 

Culbreth is a black man who is 5 feet 7 inches and 145 pounds with brown eyes, dreadlocks and a dark complexion.

The victim is believed to be in his 40s. He has not been identified.

Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. They are asking anyone with information to call 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411.
