Authorities in Prince George's County are investigating a crash involving a fire truck from the Greenbelt fire station that injured two firefighters.
The county fire department says the fire engine was responding to a possible house fire in Berwyn Heights on Saturday morning when the truck collided with a vehicle. It happened on Kenilworth Avenue near the Capital Beltway.
Two firefighters sustained minor injuries. They have been taken to a hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle also is being taken to a hospital for evaluation.
The possible house fire turned out to be a malfunctioning electrical outlet.
