2 Firefighters Injured in Fire That Damaged 2 Homes

Eight people have been displaced by the fire

Two firefighters were injured while battling a fire that damaged two row homes in Northwest Washington Tuesday morning. 

Firefighters were called to the 200 block of Morgan Street NW just after 1 a.m. for a report of a fire at two occupied homes. 

Fire officials say smoke detectors alerted the residents to the fire. The large fire caused extensive damage to the homes. 

Two firefighters were injured in the fire and transported to the hospital. 

Eight people have been displaced by the fire.
