Police are investigating the shooting death of an 18-year-old man in Southeast D.C.
Channel Johnson, 18, was shot around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of Ainger Place. Emergency crews took Johnson to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators say Johnson may have approached another man with a gun before a struggle ensued and he was shot. Police continue their investigation.
