17 Indicted in Alleged Drug Conspiracy

Seventeen people have been indicted in a drug trafficking probe, authorities said. Fifteen have been arrested.

The 17 were indicted on Aug. 4 on charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute cocaine, crack cocaine, and marijuana. Arrest and search warrants were executed early Tuesday in the District and Maryland.

About $600,000 in cash, cocaine, marijuana, weapons and vehicles were seized, officials said.

If convicted, the suspects face a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of life in prison.
