A 16-year-old girl shot in the head Monday night died at an area hospital Tuesday afternoon.
Greenbelt, Md., police did not release her identity.
The girl was standing outside an apartment building in the 5900 block of Cherrywood Lane when she was struck by a bullet.
Police are following several leads but have made no arrests.
