14-Year-Old Boy Stabbed, Wounded on Way Home From D.C. School, Sources Say

A 14-year-old boy walking home from basketball practice at his school was stabbed multiple times and wounded, police sources tell News4.

The boy was attacked after leaving school on the 4300 block of C Street SE, sources said. He was stabbed in the back multiple times and then went into a building on the 3600 block of B Street SE, the Metropolitan Police Department said. It wasn't immediately clear if the victim lived in the building, one entrance of which was blocked off Friday evening.

Police were looking at surveillance video around the school Friday afternoon to see if they could identify a suspect.

The victim is expected to be OK, police said.
