A 12-year-old boy was charged with abducting a 20-year-old woman waiting for an elevator at a Woodbridge office building.

Police told InsideNoVa.com that the boy who tried abducting the woman was about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed about 175 pounds.
Police said the woman was at the elevator when the boy grabbed her from behind, picked her up and started to take her down a hallway. The victim said the boy covered her mouth when she called for help, but later dropped her and ran into a doctor's office in the building. The victim then entered another office and called police.
Police later found the boy and took him into custody. He is being held a juvenile detention center. There was no immediate word on why the boy attempted to take the woman, or where he was going to take her.
