The U.S. Marshals increased the reward to $10,000 for information leading to the capture of a man wanted in the killing of 10-year-old Makiyah Wilson.
Isaiah Murchison is one of 11 people indicted by a grand jury in connection to Wilson's death in July 2018. He is charged with first-degree murder.
Earlier this month, the U.S. Marshals offered a $5,000 reward offered early this July.
Wilson was killed in July 2018, while trying to buy ice cream in her Northeast D.C. neighborhood. Four men jumped out of a black car and opened fire into a crowd of people, striking Wilson and two others, police said.
Wilson was just feet from her front door when she was shot and killed, according to police.
The suspects involved in the 2018 shooting were all part of the Wellington Park crew street gang. The indictment says the murder stemmed from disputes between rival neighborhoods, Wellington Park and Clay Terrace.
Murchison is a known member of the Wellington Park crew, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

The indictment also linked Wilson's murder to the 2017 murder of 24-year-old Carl Hardy. He was killed outside the Potomac Gardens housing complex in Southeast D.C.
Wilson's family launched the Makiyah Lee Wilson Foundation after she was shot and killed. The foundation's goals include supporting families scarred by violence and empowering girls.
Last Tuesday marked the one-year-anniversary of Wilson's death, which her family marked with a peace rally and a renewed commitment to stop gun violence.
"I got that call that still to this day haunts me. To this day," Michael Wilson, Makiyah Wilson's father, said of his daughter's death.
