UPDATE: The girl has been found safe, authorities said shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday.
Police in Prince George's County are searching for a missing 10-year-old girl.
Diamond Rodgers of Fort Washington was last seen Aug. 21 in the 8900 block of Rusland Court in Fort Washington. Police say Rodgers lives in the 1100 block of Palmer Road, which is located near where she was last seen.
Rodgers is 5 feet tall and weighs 75 pounds. She has brown eyes and her braided hair contains white beads.
Authorities say she may have been wearing a t-shirt, blue jeans and black sandals.
