10 Students, 3 Staff Injured by Pepper Spray at Seneca Valley High School

More than a dozen people were taken to the hospital after being exposed to pepper spray at a Montgomery County, Maryland, high school.

Pete Piringer, spokesman for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, said 10 students and three staff were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He said all 13 were inside the Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, Maryland, when they were exposed to the irritant.

He said the building was partially evacuated on Monday afternoon. Piringer did not say from where the pepper spray came.
