Montgomery County police rescued several animals after an elderly woman was found dead.
The woman was found just before midnight inside her Corsica Drive home in Bethesda and police say the woman died of natural causes.
Officers say they found 10 small dogs in the home, three of which did not survive. The other 7 were taken to an emergency vet for care.
They'll be available for adoption as soon as they're healthy enough.
