Police say the stabbing death of a 37-year-old Southeast Washington man was domestic in nature.
Officers were called to the 4400 block of Livingston Road SE about 1:20 a.m. and found Paul Ivey suffering from stab wounds.
Ivey was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Dani Hilliard, 26, of Southeast was arrested and charged with second-degree murder while armed.
Police have not commented on the relationship between Ivey and Hilliard.
